The Astrotheology Calendar serves as a basic introduction into the world of astrotheology and solar mythology. In addition to showing lunar phases and astrological signs, this calendar highlights the solstices, equinoxes and fire festivals with a different color for each of the eight relevant days. We hope to inspire an interest in astrotheology, mythology and archaeoastronomy. We bring you this special so we can keep these calendar-books in print and continue creating them in the future. As books, and even though they have dates in them, these calendars are part of my body of work, with fascinating and important information that is not dated. The core introductory material in all three calendars is the same, but the images are all different, and in the later calendars, 2011 and 2012, each image has a caption providing details of its astrotheological and/or archaeoastronomical significance. In addition to the unique images and captions is other text specific to each calendar.
